Austrian company to build eco-friendly tan-yard in Tambov Region

A cooperation agreement was executed on the 30th of August between the Tambov Regional Administration and LLC Boxmark Leader. The Austrian company intends to construct a tan-yard capable of manufacturing 4,000 items per day in the Tambov Region. The amount invested is EUR 15 million.



Austrian company to build eco-friendly tan-yard in Tambov Region


A cooperation agreement was executed on the 30th of August between the Tambov Regional Administration and LLC Boxmark Leader. The Austrian company intends to construct a tan-yard capable of manufacturing 4,000 items per day in the Tambov Region. The amount invested is EUR 15 million.


Boxmark is among global leaders manufacturing upholstery leather and a supplier for many segments of automotive, furniture and tanning industry. Similar construction projects have already been implemented in Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, China and Mexico.


The new facility will be harmless for environment as the company is committed to maintaining high environmental standards. Its production process uses a three-stage waste water treatment and own treatment facilities with the quality of water treatment reaching 98%, which is significantly higher than the prescribed minimum.
