Russian-German project being implemented in Belgorod Region to manufacture agricultural equipment
LLC ZMS-technology, a Russian and German plant that will manufacture agricultural machinery (51% stake is controlled by Agro-Belogorye Group owned by Vladimir Zotov, a deputy of the Regional State Duma), is scheduled to be launched in early 2017, according to the Group.
The Group's representatives also advised that the building frame for the future plant had already been completed on the construction site (located near Razumnoye village) and roofing was about to be completed. The delivery of the first batch of equipment is scheduled for mid-October.
It should be noted that the project is estimated at RUB 757 million (the Group previously voiced an approximate price of EUR 9 million). The facility's design capacity must reach 1.5 million of products p.a. The facility is proposed to manufacture various types of equipment for meat processing plants, ranging from forage feeding pipes to conveyor lines. The product mix to be manufactured is going to comprise about 75 product names.
We remind that Agro-Belogorye Group is implementing the project jointly with German Big Dutchman and Schickling which are responsible for the selection and delivery of process equipment, installation supervising and personnel training.
Agro-Belogorye Group manages 15 pig-breeding farms, two feed factories, four grain companies, two meat processing plants and a trade house. The Group ranks among the country's major pork producers. Vladimir Zotov, a deputy of the Regional State Duma, is the Group's main owner. In 2014, the Group received RUB 57.6 billion of revenues and generated RUB 5.99 billion of net profits.
