Tatarstan and Siemens exemplify perfect partnership relations

On the 2nd of August, the Republic of Tatarstan's House of the Government hosted a meeting attended by Talia Minullina, the Director of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, and Willibald Milesnare, the Director of Siemens AG's Energy and Gas Production Department.

The meeting discussed mutually beneficial cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the German transnational group. The meeting also focused on the monitoring of housing and utility services, creation of a smart electric grid in Tatarstan and implementation of energy efficient solutions in general.

It has been long since Siemens came to the Republic and engaged in many projects. In December 2012, Siemens Enterprise Communications opened their office in Kazan. The most recent events include an agreement to supply components for household appliances from the Republic of Tatarstan for the needs of BSH Home Appliances Group, a Russian branch of German BSH Hausgeräte GmbH. The products manufactured by the German company are generally used in the Republic's market in such sectors as power economy, healthcare, petrochemistry and railway transport. The German group also shows interest in the construction of trains for 'Moscow-Kazan' high-speed railroad.

"Siemens has been cooperating with Russia for more than 160 years. Relations between Tatarstan and the German group is an example of partnership relations showing what they must be," Talia Minullina commented on the meeting held.
