A delegation from Slovakia has recently inspected facilities at the Belaya Kholunitsa industrial park and confirmed its participation in Western Ural Machine Building Group's project.
"We have been visited by Slovaks who came to size up the situation and make a decision. They elected to provide financing. They didn't find any challenges", a representative of the Regional Business Development Ministry told.
"Western Ural Machine Building Group plans to implement its project in collaboration with EU partners. An agreement was executed between the Regional Government and main investor on 18 March 2016. The capacities to be hosted by the Belaya Kholunitsa Machine Building Plant are going to manufacture van carriers and heavy haulers.
The new facility may be commissioned as early as in late 2016.
