Chinese investors want to join Belogorsk PDA as residents

A meeting of representatives of Belogorsk and a delegation from China took place on the 18th of July. The foreign guests came up with several projects that they would like to implement in the territory of the Belogorsk Priority Development Area, more specifically, constructing a plant to recycle copper and aluminum scrap and creating a facility to manufacture pipes, packing materials and seedling trays. The company's representatives voiced their plans to build a single industrial site that will manufacture all of the forenamed products.

The goal of the potential investors was to ascertain the conditions on which the Chinese businessmen may join the Belogorsk PDA as residents.

"Today, there are 2 residents at the Belogorsk PDA with another two preparing appropriate enabling documents. The fifth 678-hectare reserve area at the Belogorsk PDA may be occupied by a Chinese enterprise. To enable the foreign investors to implement their projects on preferable terms, they must become PDA residents and submit a single business project", Larisa Lazareva, the Director of the PDA Development Unit, explained.
