Chinese want to open tile plant in Vyatskiye Polyani

Vyatskiye Polyani may host a Chinese factory that will manufacture ceramic tiles. This was reported on the 14th of July by Alexey Vershinin, a Deputy PM of the Kirov Region Government, Minister of Business Development, Trade and External Communications.

The delegation made a visit to China in March. The potential construction of the tile factory in the Region was among other matters which were considered during the visit.

"Yesterday, we received a letter from our Chinese colleagues stating that they plan to send a delegation. They are seriously considering the potential construction of the tile factory in Vyatskiye Polyani. We preliminarily explored the matter. The availability of natural resources in this regard is very important; these include clay, sand and those materials that are required to manufacture tiles. We strongly hope that a serious investor will come there who will be in position not only to use the buildings of the technology park situated in Vyatskiye Polyani but also to develop areas surrounding the technology park", Alexey Vershinin told.

The industrial park was opened in Vyatskiye Polyani in September 2014; today, the buildings' utilization ratio is only 70%.
