Polish agrarians launch new investment project in Kaliningrad Region

A joint Russian-Polish agricultural project is going to be implemented in the Bagrationovsky District, Kaliningrad Region. The day before, Sergey Lyutarevich, the Regional Minister of Agriculture, and Voiceh Mischlinsky, the CEO of Eco-Agro-Macro (Poland) met to "synchronize their watches".

Aco-Agro-Macro rented a 3.5-hectare land plot in the Bagrationovsky District. It is currently being prepared by agrarians for autumn field work.

At the next stage, the Polish company would consider such areas of agriculture being vital for the Region as dairy breeding, gardening and poultry farming consisting in industrial scale turkey breeding.

Polish businesses intensively develop relations with the Russian Region. In early 2016, Cezar, a major Polish group manufacturing plastic cornices and related accessories, announced its plans to partially transfer its production facilities to Russia, more specifically, to the Kaliningrad Region, having invested more than EUR 3 million.
