Chelyabinsk enterprises to enjoy German equipment

Two Chelyabinsk-based facilities called OJSC Konar and Russian Electric Motors factory are going to receive high-tech equipment from Germany. An appropriate agreement was entered into yesterday, July 11, at INNOPROM 2016, an international exhibit hosted by Yekaterinburg.

Two Chelyabinsk-based facilities called OJSC Konar and Russian Electric Motors factory are going to receive high-tech equipment from Germany. An appropriate agreement was entered into yesterday, July 11, at INNOPROM 2016, an international exhibit hosted by Yekaterinburg.

The signing ceremony took place yesterday near the stand devoted to the Chelyabinsk Region in the presence of Governor Boris Dubrovsky, as reported by the Regional Governor's Press Office.

Schuler Pressen is going to supply to Chelyabinsk linear automated presses and a notching line which is required to manufacture electric motors at Russian Electric Motors' facilities. A high-tech automated complex designed to manufacture stator coils for electric motors will be purchased from Heinrich Schumann. Relevant orders are going to be placed until the end of the third quarter this year.

The first foundation stone of Russian Electric Motors was laid in April this year by Dmitri Medvedev, the Prime Minister of the Russian Government. The plant will have been erected by late 2017. It will manufacture electric motors for the petroleum and oil processing industries to eliminate their import dependency.
