French company opens new workshop in Voronezh Region

On the 1st of July, Governor Alexei Gordeyev of the Voronezh Region visited LLC Voronezh Yeasts (LESAFFRE), where he inspected a new workshop devoted to the production of Aktisaf fodder additive designed for livestock breeding operations.

On the 1st of July, Governor Alexei Gordeyev of the Voronezh Region visited LLC Voronezh Yeasts (LESAFFRE), where he inspected a new workshop devoted to the production of Aktisaf fodder additive designed for livestock breeding operations.


The company has invested into the construction of the new workshop more than RUB 400 million with more than RUB 300 billion spent to purchase appropriate equipment. 27 new jobs have been created with the workshop being capable of annually producing up to 2,000 tonnes of fodder additives.


Voronezh Yeasts is a specialized enterprise producing compressed and dry bakery yeasts. The facility was opened in 1952 and LESAFFRE (France) has been its owner since July 2011. Its products are sold in Russia, CIS countries (Belarus Republic, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia) and Eastern Europe countries (Kosovo, Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia).


For the purposes of government (regional) support, Voronezh Yeasts' investment project (LESAFFRE) was included in the list of the Region's landmark investment projects in 2013.
