Prospects for localizing the production of Pierre Cardin branded clothes in the Krasnodar Territory have been discussed in the territorial capital between Vice Governor Sergey Altukhov and Rodrigo Bazilikatti, a designer and Pierre Cardin's successor.

Sergey Altukhov emphasized that the Krasnodar Territory features high potential for developing the consumer goods industry whose creation dates back to the Soviet era.

In its turn, Rodrigo Bazilikatti as a representative of Pierre Cardin fashion house expressed confidence that the production localization in Russia is a profitable investment. The designer also noted that he does not not rule out the possibility that the production of Pierre Cardin shirts may be arranged specifically at the Krasnodar Territory's production sites.

The parties also discussed the project's HR component in the course of the meeting. Mr. Bazilikatti believes that it is more advantageous to train personnel in-situ.

Mr. Bazilikatti familiarized himself with the potential featured by Kuban's consumer goods industry in more detail while visiting local enterprises belonging to the sector. In particular, the designer visited Alexandria Garment Factory. The Kuban facility with 82-year experience specializes in making men's clothing. Rodrigo Bazilikatti expressed special interest in Alexandria's string devoted to producing men's shirts.
