Chinese delegation visits Voronezh Region
On 17 June 2016, the headquarters of the Regional Government hosted a working meeting between the representatives of a delegation from Shandong province, People's Republic of China, in connection with the potential implementation in the Voronezh Region of investment projects relating to agriculture.
The key purpose of the Chinese delegation to the Voronezh Region was to discuss a potential large-scale project to be implemented in the Region to create an industrial park to produce, breed and process grain and herbs.
The Regional Government expressed interest in implementing such investment projects in the Voronezh Region and emphasized the need to develop and strengthen long-term cooperation.
Furthermore, in the course of the visit, representatives of the foreign delegation inspected the existing grain facility called OJSC Voronezh Flour Mill which inspection was complemented with negotiations held between the facility's management as well as demonstration and testing of products.
