Korean investors will help to develop machine-tool building in Penza Region
On 28 May 2016, Governor Ivan Belozertsev of the Penza Region and Shon Zhon Heon, the CEO of NAMSUN (Korea), discussed cooperation prospects in machine-tool building.
Ivan Belozertsev emphasized that currently attracting investments and developing business are one of the government's top objectives so the supporting of the machine-tool sector is given the highest priority.
Over many years, NAMSUN has been cooperating with LLC Stankomashstroy, the Penza Region's leading company, implementing a project providing for the "Construction of a plant for manufacturing metal-working machines".
"Special priority is given to companies dealing with import substitution and, in particular, machine-tool building. We are happy that you expressed interest in our Stankomashstroy because we consider your cooperation as a great development prospect", the Governor said.
The meeting resulted in a decision that a Penza delegation would visit the Republic of Korea and agreements to exchange specialists of engineering disciplines to exchange the experience acquired by the both parties.
