A new joint venture created by Rosagromarket group and FM Logistic (France) will embark on creating a chain of Wholesale & Distribution Centers.
The French party will be in charge of the enterprise's operations, including services, warehousing and shipping logistics, while the Russian party will be responsible for the construction of infrastructure and leasing of retail and storage space. FM Logistic's share in the new JV will be 72% and Rosagromarket will have a 28% stake.
The first facility to be arranged by the JV will be a 210,000 sq.m. Wholesale & Distribution Center in Novosibirsk enabling the provision of food manufacturers with storage space required to store fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and dairy products and services associated with aftermarket preparation, logistics and wholesale. The W&DC will be capable of storing up to 136,000 tonnes of products with the planned amount of investments totaling RUB 16.5 billion.
