New Zealand's experience to be disseminated among Tyumen dairy farms

Andrei Zotov, the Director of a project run by AMG Pastoral, a New Zealand company, is confident about a great potential featured by the Siberian butter industry and local dairy segment.

Mr. Zotov emphasized that the Tyumen Region's agricultural sector uses the world's most up-to-date technological innovations. "For instance, in the past, the Union of Siberian Butter Dairies used to control a remarkable share of the global dairy butter market having adopted the best practices and knowledge of Vologda-based butter manufacturers. A then-unique logistic chain was created in the Region featuring a "cold corridor" enabling the delivery of butter in 300 hours to Baltic ports and further to Europe", a representative of New Zealand's businesses noted.

The agribusiness is a very promising segment for the Region, so great attention is paid to its growth with meat and milk production being a topical subject", Vadim Shumkov, a Deputy Governor of the Tyumen Region, noted.
