A modern cattle-breeding laboratory to deal with the sexing of bull sperm is going to be constructed in Buryatia by Saikesin, a company from the city of Huhehaote, Inner Mongolia Autonomous District, PRC. At the first stage, specialists from the Chinese company will handle seminal fluid brought from China and later on the laboratory will be constructed in the Republic, according to the Press Office of the Head and Government of the Republic.

It is expected to appear on the site of LLC Buyan which plans to increase its breeding stock. The technology will allow dramatically increasing cattle stock, both beef and dairy.

This project is unique for the entire Siberia Federal District and relevant for selection and breeding efforts made by the Republic's farms. It will allow improving the productive qualities of agricultural animals. "Unfortunately, so far we are lacking hi-tech stock-breeding facilities, but we have opportunities for cooperation and implementing the most technology-savvy projects", Viacheslav Nagovitsin, the Head of Buryatia, noted at the meeting.
