French investors take interest in developing Lagonaki resort

A French delegation has taken part in a working meeting that took place in the headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory's Ministry for Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage in connection with the potential participation of French businesses in the implementation of a project devoted to creating Lagonaki Mountain Climate Resort.

French investors take interest in developing Lagonaki resort

A French delegation has taken part in a working meeting that took place in the headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory's Ministry for Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage in connection with the potential participation of French businesses in the implementation of a project devoted to creating Lagonaki Mountain Climate Resort.

The meeting was held as part of the visit made to the Krasnodar Territory by the delegation from the French Republic headed by Didier Shodzeig, the President of the Russian-French Economic Chamber. The delegation comprised the CEOs of such companies as FONROCHE (power systems, lighting systems, alternative power sources) and NGE (construction of transport infrastructure such as motor and railway roads, ports, utilities, energy and optic fiber systems, etc.).

Previously, in January 2016, the Krasnodar Territory was visited by representatives of French companies being members of Alp Tourism Development, whose goal is participation in implementing projects devoted to developing winter sports and tourism in Russia. The Laganaki Mountain Climate Resort was selected as a 'pilot' project.

Currently, the Ministry for Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage is discussing with the French party a cooperation mechanism to be used in moving the Lagonaki Project forward.
