Silin, a Chinese import-export corporation, intends to spend 1.5 years to construct in Sibay, a Bashkiria city, an industrial park, as reported by Zeng Aiguo, the Chairman of the Sichuan Association in Russia and CIS countries and Silin's CEO. "We are interested in constructing an industrial park, including an up-to-date cement plant capable of producing 5 thousand tonnes per day. Of course, we will facilitate achieving the maximum construction rate. We want to construct it over a year and a half", he said at the meeting held with Governor Rustem Khamitov of Bashkiria, last Saturday. Mr. Aiguo emphasized that the corporation intends to benefit from authorities' support when implementing the project.

"Such support will unconditionally be provided. We are creating comfortable conditions for investors who work in the Republic", Mr. Khamitov told. "Direct supervision will be introduced to monitor the progress of the project, all administrative barriers will be lifted, attention of the ministers responsible for implementing the project will be ensured and the best conditions will be created to ensure that the project is launched in our Republic."

The Governor of Bashkiria emphasized the importance of the plant's environmental safety. "It is critical that the enterprise employs the most up-to-date technology. This means that there will be no air pollutions or discharges that may contaminate our water bodies", he added.
