Emerson intends to expand production in Chelyabinsk Region

This was announced at a working meeting held between Ruslan Gattarov, the Vice Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, and Slavomir Sukhomsky, the Vice President of Emerson in Eastern Europe.

This was announced at a working meeting held between Ruslan Gattarov, the Vice Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, and Slavomir Sukhomsky, the Vice President of Emerson in Eastern Europe.


The company intends to develop its new business on the site of an office and production compound that was opened in the summer last year in Chelyabinsk. Emerson's plans for 2016–2017 provide for the launching of a facility that will manufacture flow-meters, vibration forks, radar level gauges, drives and control components.


"The greenfield construction in Chelyabinsk will allow to have the personnel increased by 1.5 times by 2025. Today, the enterprise has one thousand employees and this number will grow to 1,600. It is expected that the new areas will be used to develop the existing lines of business and to offer localization opportunities for new activities", Slavomir Sukhomsky told.


In the course of his meeting with Slavomir Sukhomsky, Ruslan Gattarov highly appreciated the company's plans and thanked its representative for contributing into the Chelyabinsk Region's economy.
