China Railway Corporation to invest into construction of Chuvashia-Sichuan Agropark


The Chuvash Government has finally selected a new investor interested in implementing the Chuvashia-Sichuan Agropark Project. It is Sichuan Investment Railway Corporation. An agreement of intent envisaging potential cooperation was executed yesterday, during a working visit of Ivan Motorin, the Republic's Prime Minister, according to the official website of the Chuvash authorities.


The Parties agreed to implement this large-scale project associated with vegetable growing, stock farming and processing and selling of agricultural products. The project contemplates the construction of roads, a storehouse for products, processing facilities and other production and logistic facilities to be hosted by various parts of the Republic.


The agreement was signed by Yuri Muishinsky, the CEO of PJSC Chuvash Republic Development Corporation, on behalf of the Russian party, while Sun Yun, the Chairmen of Sichuan Investment Railway Corporation, was the Chinese party's signatory.
