A meeting of the BRICS Business Cooperation Committee attended by representatives of LLC Advanced Trading, an Indian pharmaceutical group, has taken place in the office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Yugra.

Vladimir Nigmatulin, the First Deputy of Yugra's Public Health Department, called the exchange of pharmaceutical market review information with representatives of the Indian pharmaceutical group as one of areas for developing cooperation. He also added that: "To date, the HIV infection issue is among pressing problems faced by us. It is very important for us that patients suffering from immunodeficiency are made subject to strict pharmaceutical monitoring."

In his turn, Anshuman Sharma, the Commercial Director of LLC Advanced Training pharmaceutical group, confirmed the company's intentions to develop its footprint in the Russian market under import phase-out programmes and initiatives aimed to attract foreign investments into the country's industry.

"We are ready to report on a new string designed to make medicinal preparations for fighting HIV. Tableted and capsular medicinal preparations belonging to numerous pharmacological classes will be manufactured together with antituberculous agents", Anshuman Sharma explained.
