A meeting was held in the Governor's house in Penza between Governor Ivan Belozertsev and representatives of Baden-Württemberg's Union of Industrialists.

Ivan Belozertsev noted when greeting the guests that the Penza Region features a great industrial potential and is interested in business contacts with other countries.

"Our industry is developing successfully in general. We have such enterprise as Mayak which is being developed by us jointly with our colleagues from Germany. This is the best paper and furniture enterprise in Russia and Europe. We also have NIIFI (Physical Measurements Research Institute) specializing in space researches whose products were used in U.S. shuttles", Ivan Belozertsev said.

He also emphasized that regional enterprises have been charged with a task to make products originating from Penza competitive. The Governor also voiced progresses in agriculture.

Wolf Wolfgang, the President of Baden-Württemberg's union of industrialists, thanked Penza's Governor for hospitality.

"We visited a technology cluster today in the morning and are satisfied that it offers great opportunities. Your progress in health technology is also impressing", Wolf Wolfgang said.

Wolf Wolfgang has already visited the Penza Region in 2014 and held negotiations with Director of the Belinsky District's Administration Vasily Chernuishev.

The President of the Union of Industrialists expressed his hope that it is not the last visit of the delegation to the Region.
