Italian investors show interest in cooperation with agricultural enterprises in Chuvashia
On April 7, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Vladimir Avrelkin had a business meeting with the representatives of Italian delegation headed by Stefano Bandecchi- the head of LLC «Bandecchi». The representatives of the local companies took part in the negotiations with Italian investors. One of the discussion topics was the potential of agroindustrial complex of Chuvash Republic. The Italian companies are ready to enlarge the range of manufactured dairy products in Chuvashia such as cheese, ice-cream, yoghurt and semiprocessed food.
On April 6, the Italian delegation met with the head of the republic Michail Ignatiev. During that meeting, the cooperation agreement between the Italian company LLC «Bandecchi» and LLC «Cheboksary Armaturny Zavod» (Valve Plant) was signed. The agreement includes new range of products, growth of production and pipeline control valves producing equipment modernization.
