Lipetsk Region waiting for Chinese investors

A delegation representing the Lipetsk Region visited the PRC from the 10th through the 13th of March this year. Its visit to the Hubei province constituted a return visit aimed to strengthen relations with the Heavenly Empire's business community and to spark investors' interests in the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone and industrial areas of the Lipetsk Region. And the result was not long in coming.

A delegation representing the Lipetsk Region visited the PRC from the 10^th through the 13^th of March this year. Its visit to the Hubei province constituted a return visit aimed to strengthen relations with the Heavenly Empire's business community and to spark investors' interests in the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone and industrial areas of the Lipetsk Region. And the result was not long in coming.

Negotiations took place in the city of Ukhan, according to Vasily Goltsev, the Executive Director of Lipetsk's Chamber of Commerce and Industry whose statements were published in the Lipetsk Newspaper where he was quoted as saying that local professionals have taken interest in facilities located in the Lipetsk Region and are ready to reconstruct the Dankov Thermal Power Station. Angel IST, a Chinese company, has already had cooperation experience with this Region with the company now constructing a facility to produce dry yeast in Dankov. In the course of the negotiations, the Chinese proposed a free training programmes for students from Russia.

The visit's results are as follows: a cooperation agreement has been executed between Lipetsk CCI, CCI of Inchan (Chinese town), Elets and Dankov Districts, U Jia Gang and I Lin Districts (Hubei province). Chinese investors have already proceeded to preparing a visit to Lipetsk.
