Chinese company planning to construct grain processing facility in Volgodonsk

HengFeng, a Chinese corporation, intends to construct a plant in Russia to process agricultural raw materials. Available sites in Volgodonsk, Vladikavkaz and Novokubansk are being considered as a potential place to construct the facility.

HengFeng, a Chinese corporation, intends to construct a plant in Russia to process agricultural raw materials. Available sites in Volgodonsk, Vladikavkaz and Novokubansk are being considered as a potential place to construct the facility.


The facility will occupy at least 25 hectares. Go Feng, the CEO of HengFeng, has visited Volgodonsk to find out its potential. According to him, he now has got an idea of available crop areas in neighboring agricultural territories and even is ready to fulfill customized orders of local farmers and agricultural businesses.


At its initial phase, the project will receive about RUB 1 billion of investments. Go Feng said that economic feasibility study in connection with the project will take a month. Furthermore, to promote cooperation, a Chinese delegation will visit the Rostov Region in May this year headed by the highest officials.
