An entertainment park called Universal may be constructed at the Varshavskoye Highway, estate 170, in the South District of the Capital. The 775,8 thousand square meter multipurpose facility featuring hotels will be erected on the site of a former car market. A thematic entertainment park by Hollywood's Universal Studios will be its core feature. The facility will also host a 10,000-slots car park.
According to the Moscow Government's Press Office, the agreement for creating Universal Studios' Thematic Entertainment Park was executed with Universal (USA) in 2011. Europe's largest thematic children's' park is expected to be erected on the site of Varshavsky vehicle service station constructed in the 1970s.
