Tin deposit to be unsealed in Yakutia

TUN Chenbo, the CEO of Heilongjiang Main Economy and Technology Development Company, has visited the capital of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

One of his working visit's goals is to create a Yakutia and Chinese company to implement investment projects in the Republic. The potential joint venture company will be incorporated with the participation of JSC Republic Investment Company and Heilongjiang Main Economy and Technology Development Company.

The Chinese partner's visit was preceded by comprehensive efforts made by the Republic of Sakha's Agency for Investment Development as a dedicated institution offering "one-stop shop" services to domestic and foreign investors, including services associated with the incorporation of joint venture companies.

The potential joint venture company will initially focus on implementing a project on developing the Tirektiakh Brook, a tin-bearing placer in the Deputatsky village, Ust-Yansky District, by the Chinese and Yakutia parties. In future, the newly created Yakutia and Chinese joint venture company is expected to implement investment projects in all promising lines of business.
