Renaissance Construction will construct Terminal B and tunnels connecting terminals at the Sheremetyevo Airport, as reported by the Sheremetyevo International Airport's Public Relations Directorate. The tender winner has been determined by the Boards of Directors of JVC Sheremetyevo Terminal B and JVC Sheremetyevo Interterminal Tunnel.

The company will embark on the implementation of development projects relating to Sheremetyevo's North Terminal Complex providing for the construction of terminal B and two interterminal tunnels.

The both projects are of vital importance for developing the Airport and are on the list of the facilities required to be ready for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

It is expected that $300 million will be invested to construct new terminal B and $330 million will be invested to construct the interterminal tunnel.

Subject to maintaining high quality service, the Airport's annual capacity will have reached 50 million passengers by 2018. The upgrading of the terminal infrastructure will take place simultaneously with the commissioning of the third standalone flight strip.

Sheremetyevo offers flights to 200+ destinations. Aeroflot is the Airport's main and key carrier. Furthermore, Sheremetyevo is the base airport for Nordwind Airlines.
