Spanish Mercabarna to advise Tatarstan in constructing Agromir Kazan
On the 21st of January, Tatarstan and Mercabarna, a Spanish company, executed a partnership agreement. The Barcelona-based company's specialists will review the Agromir Project to issue their recommendations regarding the project's master plan and logistic solution to investors.
The first phase of Agromir Kazan Wholesale & Distribution Center is expected to have been completed by the fourth quarter of 2016. It will initially occupy 49 hectares. Out of these, 11.7 hectares will be devoted to commercial space.
RUB 9 billion will be invested in the completion of the first phase. The total project will cost RUB 16 billion. It will occupy 148 hectares in total (35.7 hectares will be used for commercial space). Agromir's construction must have been completed by 2021.
