A bryndza plant may be erected in the Kemerovo Region fueled by Bulgarian investments, as reported by Interfax Siberia News Provider. Several Bulgarian companies are ready to invest some $7 mln in the new facility subject to certain conditions. This was announced at a meeting held between Governor Aman Tuleyev and Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria Boiko Kotsev. To enable the production, the Kemerovo Region must produce at least 60 tonnes of raw milk per day, the Ambassador was quoted as saying by the news provider. Furthermore, such milk must be of high quality. If this condition is met, the launching of the plant will take 6 to 12 months. After these words, the Governor asked to provide all necessary support to implement the project and prepare the site for the plant. Despite the fact that today the Kemerovo Region satisfies only 64% of the local community's total demand for raw milk, the Region is expected to reach full self-sufficiency in five years. Therefore, the Bulgarian party's milk output requirement is likely to be met.
