«Hochland» will expand its Production Lines in the Belgorod Region for RUR 1.4 billion

General Director of cheese company “Hochland Russland” Ulrich Marschner told about it. According to his story the company will invest its own funds into new capacities.

General Director of cheese company “Hochland Russland” Ulrich Marschner told about it. According to his story the company will invest its own funds into new capacities. Herewith 45% (RUR 601 million) will go for construction works and 54% (RUR 730 million) – for purchase of equipment.


The plant capacity will be increased twofold – up to 38 thousand tons of finished products a year. It is planned to complete production site development by 2020.


“We actually feel in the Belgorod Region constructive and specific support, which really makes us happy and I am sure that we will manage to solve all our problems in a positive way” – said Ulrich Marschner.


“Hochland Russland” branch came to the Belgorod Region in 2012, when Dairy Plant “Onken” located in Prokhorovsky district went under reconstruction and was redesigned to produce curd cheese. Nowadays it produces 12 types of cheese, daily purchasing from Belgorod farmers and farm enterprises 89 tons of milk.
