Danone Invests into Ecological Projects in Russia

In 2016 Danone Group in Russia plans to invest RUR 500 million into projects designed to preserve the environment. Early next year in Samara at the Dairy Plant “Samaralacto” the company will launch a construction of new treatment facilities. System capacity is to make up 215 thousand 3 per year. In May 2016 there are plans to launch a construction of new ammonia station in the city of Saransk at Dairy Plant “Saranskiy” (Active station was built over 30 years ago). Used ammonia volume is to decrease by 75% which will enable to sufficiently decrease gas vaporization into the atmosphere. New station will increase reliability of the equipment in use and provide an opportunity to increase the quantity of turned out products.

«In these complicated times our company managed not only to preserve its presence at the market but also keeps on actively investing into business priorities, one of which is commitment to ecology” – marked Bernard Ducros General Director of Danone Group.
