Metro Opened its Third Warehouse in Rostov-on-Don
This Thursday Metro Cash & Carry launched its third warehouse in Rostov-on-Don.
Estimated cost of the warehouse reaches EUR 20-22 million. New center will attend representatives of small and medium businesses engaged in food and lodging industry, small retailing, other commercial and state institutions.
Sales area covers 5.8 thousand sq. meters, stock includes over 30 thousand names of various food commodities and non-foods.
Implementation of the project enabled to open another 155 working places. Metro Cash & Carry started the construction of the warehouse in July 2015.
Metro Group manages 2.2 thousand warehouses in 30 countries of the world. The Company’s sales in the financial year 2013-2014 made up EUR 63 billion. In Russia Metro network consolidates over 70 Metro Cash & Carry warehouses and over 60 Media Markt shops.
