In 2016 Italian company "Alto More"  will implement salad raising investment project. Volume of investments is to reach about RUR 200 mln.

In 2016 Italian company "Alto More" will implement salad raising investment project. Volume of investments is to reach about RUR 200 mln. This information came out after the meeting of the Head of Adygei Aslan Tkhakushinov and the Honorary Consulate General of the Italian Republic in South and North Caucasian Federal Districts - Pierpaolo Lodigiani.


Plantations will be laid out in Teuchezhski District of the Republic in spring 2016. Initially it is planned to put 10ha of salad in the open and in the long run it is expected to build 40ha of heated greenhouses provided with drip irrigation system.


Pierpaolo Logiani also told of other projects of Italian entrepreneurs. At the moment rice raising project is under implementation on 850ha in Krasnogvardeyski district, together with other projects related to production of nuts, vegetables, crops for beverage industry and spices. In the nearest future there are plans to implement investment projects related to establishment of garlic, early potato and carrots plantations. The Head of Adygei suggested to study other possible areas of cooperation assuring that favorable conditions for business activities have already been set out in the region.
