“Blue House” will invest a quarter of a billion rubles in Rostov Region

At “Sochi-2015”, Vasily Golubev, the Governor of Rostov Region, and Erminda de Fatima de Castro, the Realty Director of “Blue House”, signed an association agreement between the regional government and “Blue House” on the construction of sporting goods store “Decathlon” in Rostov Region.

At “Sochi-2015”, Vasily Golubev, the Governor of Rostov Region, and Erminda de Fatima de Castro, the Realty Director of “Blue House”, signed an association agreement between the regional government and “Blue House” on the construction of sporting goods store “Decathlon” in Rostov Region.

The first “Decathlon” store in Rostov region with the area of more than 6,000 sq. m. was opened in 2010 in a shopping mall “MEGAMAG” (the left-bank part of Rostov-on-Don). Now the investor localizes his own project for the construction of flagship sports store “Decathlon”. Blue House LLC, the structural subdivision of the company in Russia, implements the project. The estimated volume of investments is 250 million rubles; the planned number of jobs created during the project implementation is 50.

For reference: Decathlon was founded in France in 1976 and is a member of Oxylane Group that unites “Decathlon” hypermarkets, factories, logistic centers and sporting goods research laboratories. “Decathlon” is one of the world’s largest sporting goods retailers and producers (the revenue in 2014 is €8.2 billion). The company employs more than 60,000 staff and has more than 900 retail facilities, including 28 stores and domestic production in Russia. The assortment of goods is over 35,000 positions. The company owns more than 40 patents and 20 brands.
