Italian group of companies Gruppo Manni launched a sandwich panel plant in the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd region. Sandwich panels will be produced under the brand name of Isopan Rus.

Italian group of companies Gruppo Manni launched a sandwich panel plant in the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd region. Sandwich panels will be produced under the brand name of Isopan Rus. In the two years, the investor has put about €25 million in plant construction.

The capacity of new Gruppo Manni Russian-based enterprise of 3 million square meters per year will make up one fifth of total capacity of all Italian company’s plants, which is 14 million square meters per year.

Volzhsky plant has two production lines for wall and roof sandwich panels with rock wool, polyisocyanurate and polyurethane foam fillings. The enterprise is determined to become a leader in this segment, as earlier such products were only imported. Isopan Rus also plans to produce curtain wall systems based on Ark-Wall sandwich panels and products for flat roof Isodeck Pv Steel, which allow to reduce the roofing time by two-thirds.

“Severstal” will be a supplier of rolled steel for sandwich panels, and Volgograd authorities are already prepared to use Isopan Rus products for the construction of basketball court near Mamev Kurgan.

The new enterprise is expected to employ about 100 workers. The tax liabilities of fully operational plant will amount to more than 160 million rubles a year.
