Adidas Group bought 120000 square meters in the PNK-Chekhov II

The real estate development company PNK Group and the global leader in the sporting goods industry Adidas Group closed a sale of warehouses in the A+ level industrial park  PNK-Chekhov II. Under the deal, Adidas Group buys a 120000 square meters building for its own needs. Company JLL was a deal consultant.

The real estate development company PNK Group and the global leader in the sporting goods industry Adidas Group closed a sale of warehouses in the A+ level industrial park PNK-Chekhov II. Under the deal, Adidas Group buys a 120000 square meters building for its own needs. Company JLL was a deal consultant. This deal is the biggest in Russian warehousing market ever.


PNK-Chekhov 2 Warehouse Complex is located in the Moscow Region, 49 km from the Moscow Ring Road, along Simferopolskoye highway and 20 km from A-107 highway. The Warehouse Complex with the total area 316000 square meters was built in 2012-2013 years and at the moment all warehouse facilities are sold to big Russian and international companies.


In 2012 Adidas Group became an anchor tenant of PNK-Chekhov 2, renting there 65000 square meters. Today the company buys an entire building for further business expansion and this acquisition has a strategic significance.

Petr Zaritsky, the national director and the head of warehouse&industrial department of JLL, comments: “Russian and Moscow warehousing market open up unique opportunities for buying high-quality objects on beneficial terms. For international sports giant Adidas the acquisition of PNK-Chekhov 2 is an investment in the development of its prospects in Russia and for PNK Group this transaction is a logical and successful extension of its development strategy. The acquisition is the largest deal in Russian warehousing market”.


Alexey Efimov, the Executive Board member and the regional director of JLL, adds: “The investment of Adidas Group in warehouse acquisition is a positive sign for the entire property market. Foreign companies consider Russia as a promising region and warehouses as a stable sector of property market, attractive even under the economical volatility”.
