Turkish company Odak may reconstruct the center of Moscow
Odak, Turkish construction company, may be entitled to construct and reconstruct the buildings in the center of Moscow, as the chairman of the Moscow Committee for Support of Investment Projects in Construction and Participatory Construction Monitoring Konstantin Timofeev said in an interview with a news agency “Moscow”.
“We offered Odak company all transfer hubs, which are now managed by the JSC “Mosinzhproekt”, and several objects in the city center, managed by the state unitary enterprise SUE “The office of building, engineering structure and comminications operation”, said Konstantin Timofeev. In accordance with the decision of “The office of the involvement of city property in economic turnover”, headed by Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, a number of old and being in bad repair buildings in the city center were consigned to the SUE. The SUE decides, whether to reconstruct or to wreck the building. At this stage foreign investors will be engaged and Odak is interested in project because it concerns the city center.
Konstantin Timofeev also mentioned that the projects implementation may begin in 2015. “If city institutions are competent, the documentation will be ready this year and the projects will be implemented. It’s only a matter of coordination”. Odak company also considers a possibility of participation in the construction of new transport hubs in Moscow.
